View Full Version : Butter in the Butt?

I read one of those stories in a really old Penthouse Forum: A guy takes a stick of butter and carves down one end to make it pointy, then sticks it up a girl's butt, and then humps her butt.
This idea really turned me on. (Wonder if that story was inspired by Last Tango in Paris?) But I am not sure if it's safe.
I understand that stuff you stick in your butt can be absorbed into your body, so it seems like a bad idea to stick that much fat, cholesterol, whatever is in a whole stick of butter or margarine into your body. In this case I am not concerned about condoms since we are in a long term relationship.
Any thoughts?

Butter has salt in it. Every time you have any kind of sex you get tiny little cuts and tears. I don't know about you but I don't relish salt being rubbed in a dozen tiny wounds.

Somehow I doubt that using butter for lubrication during anal sex is a good idea.
As a rule of thumb, if something is found in the kitchen it shouldn't be used in the bedroom for sex.

well......for the most part, yes...
(but give me a good sturdy breadboard, or a nice spatula, and I'll beat you black and blue with it! :D )

well oils dont break down in there so well, so its not so great for the receiver. However, in a fit of passion, in the kitchen, all we had was olive oil on the shelf in the pantry, and about 5 minutes before the housemates came back from the store.. she was panting for it, so some olive oil, some fingering and about 1 minute later I was in to the hilt. She came in 3 minutes and I in 3.01. We were reclothed and innocent in 4 minutes. (Maybe the glow gave us away...)
One of my finest memories. *sigh*
There is absolutely no problem using butter or a butter substitute, like Country Crock Spread. I used to use this everyday for years and it does nothing but feel fukin awesome. When it's cold, the feeling is truly mind blowing and when it warms...it's like being covered in thick cum.
You can use tons of it for a very unique feeling and a totally erotic experience - the only thing is Do Not ever use butter or any oil-based lube for sex toys or condoms it will kill 'em quick.
Try it with your partner in the shower - just get a fresh tub and go nuts covering each other's bodies...then stuff some in your favorite hole and get a feeling you've never had before.
Just go for it!
================== UPDATE =================
This is an update - I read a post where several women were expressing concerns about yeast infections and the use of butter or a butter sustitute or vegitable oil - my gf was extremely open to yeast infections and used to get them frequently. She's only had one since we've been together and it's been over a year since then. But when we first started to have sex I told her about Country Crock butter sustitute as lube and how great it felt.
We used it just about daily for a couple months and off and on since with absolutely no problems with her getting yeast infections - in fact, she comented that it has been a very long time since she had one. So just to let you guys know - there is a ton of warnings about everything...including the "dangers" of anal sex itself all over the place and you just have to be smart about all the things that interest you sexually.
Anything can be dangerous if aproached carelessly - and most everything can be made harmless with a bit of smarts and TRUE understanding of the matter.
OK I said my peice - feel free to rip this apart as you like. But after a lifetime of using butter/substitutes - I've never had anything but great pleasure and with a chick that used to be so open to yeast infections and her not having any problems - I'd say that with proper washing you can use these things safely.

Dan's gf here. he's totally right as far as I'm concerned and I'll totally agree with what he said. Butter is one of the most interesting lubes we've ever used. it doesn't get all sticky and start rolling like most other lubes and if you don't feel the slippery feeling you're used to try adding some cheap jelly lube you get at the grocery store. it adds a whole new feeling to it and all you have to do is buy more butter (try not to use it for cooking afterwards as that could be kinda freaky) but it is a very cheap and fun lube. and as for not using anything you find in the kitchen in the bedroom.... what about chocolate syrup, carmel ice cream topping, whip cream, peanut butter, strawberrys, and all the other interesting foods in there?? THEY CAN ALL BE SO MUCH FUN IF YOU JUST USE YOUR IMAGINATION. NOT TO MENTION SO DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!! HAVE FUN!!!

no offense, but I prefer my food to stay out of the bedroom....
I have a hard enough time keeping up with laundry as it is, I can't imagine trying to get ass-scented grease stains out of the sheets to!

LOL "ass-scented grease stains" not exactly the sexiest picture comes to mind. But that's also why we call it "drop-cloth sex" Keeps everything clean and no ass-scented stains anywhere.

he's right, we use some old curtains i sewed together to put down any time we feel like getting a little sweet with our play. they have a really soft almost vinyl backing and it keeps everything clean. you just have to keep a towel on the floor at the edge to wipe your feet on when leaving and entering the play arena. trust me dirt doesn't feel great in certain places at certain times. you really can use almost anything as a dropcloth. even an old tarp from the garage once you've rinsed it off of course. I think it is better to buy a new one so that it's easier to clean of course and you don't have to worry about holes in it that could leak. then just rinse and hang to dry like you used it to cover something in the rain. nobody even has to know what's it's really for. but as far as laundry goes why not use it in the shower instead. it can be a great turn on and easier to clean than the bed, and you can clean up together before you leave (if you want to of course) you really are only limited by your imagination. might i suggest peanut butter and chocolate syrup together? it tastes like reese's peanut butter cups and it is fun to get off ( all meanings) just a few ideas. have fun!!

yeah I knew I was forgetting something and the peanut butter works great with that too. The coolest part is you can use almost anything in the kitchen for fun too, always depending on what you're into. but I always say the messier/stickier the better. It's just so much fun to try to lick it all off. and a good head job with peanut butter and choc. syrup is always YUMMY!!

My girlfriend (at the time) found this combination an AWESOME mixture to slide around in and explore each other thoroughly. There was mutual penetration, genital and anal 69'ing --- and culminated in anal intercourse from the front. My knees were torn up and she had horrid bruises on her back and shoulder-blades (suspiciously not unlike the pattern of the non-slip matting on the restaurant kitchen floor). Cleanup was decidedly NOT fun. But we both agreed it was one of the hottest bouts we shared together. At least until her "B"-Day (Buttbang your Baby over a Benchseat on the Back of a Bulldozer on her Birthday). But there was no food/butter/oil involved in that one... just a LOT of my saliva. Delicious both before and after! Yum.

but I have too used olive oil in a pinch. But I much prefer water-based lube, as did my girlfriend.

I'd stay away from anything that's processed or anything that isn't easily easily degradable or removable. Essentially your colon takes all the waste from the upper intestinal tract and squeezes out any remaining water and vitamin K or B out of it. It does not digest/break down anything, so keep that in mind.
