Does anyone here have porn pals? Do you watch by yourself? Do you have someone you share your good finds with? Do you and your significant other search for it together? Just curious to know. I do not have a designated pal, although I have a friend at work, who happens to be female, who I have loaned certain titles to over the past few years. When she was single, she was curious about what guys might be into and even now when she is dating a guy, he does not really own any of his own (I don't think you can count Maxim) so every now and then she might ask for another DVD out of fun. Anyone else? :)

Hey, no problem! :) Good to have the clarification and it still is neat that you can share with your circle of friends whereas for many of us here in the States, everyone seems to think it embarrassing if your friends find out and then want to share. My wife, although she is fine with my porn and yet does not watch it, was worried I was letting everyone know what was in my DVD collection, but I promised I did not, except for that one lady friend at work. But still, should it even be embarrassing? I think my wife felt that if other people knew, they might think she watches the same porn...

Too true! :) I have thought the same, but as my workmate has pointed out to me, they may not all be the aficionados that I am, posting porn reviews, joining message boards about it, reading interviews, doing research to find what is actually good porn, etc... most people just seem to get whatever cheap crap they find quickly, which is unfortunate... I lent a pile of my videos and dvds to one of my collegues because she was going through a dry spell. I work from home and get things sent to me once a week. I guess she wrapped them like a gift and popped them in my mailbox at work while I was home at my folks place for Christmas. The office sent the package along with my work stuff to their home. When I recieved it I was like "Awww so and so sent me a Christmas Gift, I am going to open it" and then I proceeded to open it in front of my mother and teenage brother!

You know, I can relate to that. Being a strong and confident woman I find some of the titles degrading. When I see someone I adore like Belladonna on a box called "Dumb cum swallowing whores" or something it does bother me. HAHAHA! Martha Stewart could probably use little ass action, I think! :) I end up taking the DVDs out of the cases and place them in big flip book, where they each slide into clear covers. I stash the DVD boxes and place the covers inside the pocket. My wife is also the strong, confident fighter and while she is fine with me owning & watching porn, the titles do not help her change her opinion that it is not for her. I always note about the cast being great, or the direction, lighting, energy etc, to show that I have high standards and won't just watch any old porn that is put in front of me. True, it is all centered on ass play and anal action, but I am very picky about what makes it work for me.

The BBW titles can be awful too, which is a shame. I used to only buy from the stores here in Chicago, but once I discovered how to better research online and then the better prices to boot, I became an online only purchaser for DVDs! So, do you find it easier just to browse through a shop, seeing what is on the shelves? I still do that from time to time, but more or less just to remind me what is new, but then I will get back online to check on reviews and prices, etc.
