I am pleased to say that the winners of the First Annual Tristan's Treasure Chest Contest have been randomly selected and contacted by the Voice. They have to complete some paperwork for the legal department, then I send their big boxes off to them. Congratulations to the three lucky winners! I'm also happy to say that I finished all three of my writing assignments, which is a great weight off my shoulders. Oh, and I updated the homepage with future airings of my segment on HBO's Real Sex; if you haven't seen it, you should check it out. I headed into the city today for a doctor's appointment. I've been having severe neck and back pain for more than a month. I have chronic lower back pain (old horseback riding injury when I was a teenager), and my chiropractor-acupuncturist (she's licensed in both) usually works wonders. This pain is in a different place, and she can give me brief relief, but it doesn't last. I know that sitting in front of the computer for hours and hours for a month straight right before the re-launch of the site probably didn't help matters, but still. So, I went to see an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in necks and backs. He wants me to get an MRI. I've never had one before. My insurance needs to approve it first, then I can make the appointment, so to be continued on that front. I've brought Harley to the dog park for the past three out of four days (only one parking ticket!) in an attempt to exhaust him. I think it finally worked, since he's passed out on the chair right now. Our arrival at home coincided with a delivery from the UPS man. I gave him his Christmas present: Naughty Spanking Stories from A to Z by Rachel Kramer Bussel, Down and Dirty Sex Secrets, Island Fever DVD from Digital Playground, a HoneyBun Spanking Kit, and some lube. I've known him for four years (as long as he's been my UPS guy). He's a great guy, and his customer service is really above and beyond the call of duty, so I like to show my appreciation. My meeting for tomorrow was cancelled, so I'm not sure what I will be up to. I have more than 200 emails in my Inbox. The problem is that if I fall behind, I find it almost impossible to catch up. I will try, however, and hope that I'll get a little break around Christmas. Had a good phone conversation with T yesterday, and we made plans for Christmas Night and New Year's Eve I can't wait.
