Tonight, we went to a dinner party at Dyke Uniform Corps Headquarters. Bobby was in town from Pittsburgh, and the DUC Majors hosted an evening for him and Sir C. I haven't been to the DUC Headquarters in years, and it was so wonderful to see the Majors. I adore them and want to make an effort to see more of them this year. My ex and I helped them paint their dungeon, and they put a small gold plaque on a set of doors that I painted silver that said "Tristan's Doors." It was so sweet and meant a lot to me. I admit it was also a little emotional for me since the last time I was there (with the ex), I felt like it was decades ago (it was 4-5 years). I truly feel like a different person-different desires, different priorities, different state of mind-now than I was then, and different in a good way. I just feel like I am in a much better place now. I feel truly blessed to have the boy in my life, and I feel that I have a much different relationship to the leather community. Lone Wolf and his cub joined us and we caught up in the car ride there. I'm sad they won't be at Winter Fire this year, but look forward to plotting with them again for the September event.
