We're in the homestretch on the AVN coverage. It's Sunday in Vegas. Went to bed at 6:00 am, and the alarm went off at 9:30 am. I had a 10:45 interview scheduled. I would have been reaching for the cell phone to reschedule the interview if it hadn't been for the subject: Digital Playground contract girl Teagan Presley. I had actually run into her after the awards the night before, and asked her about not winning Starlet of the Year. She told me that it didn't matter, all that mattered was her fans, not AVN. She said she won a fan award, and that was what's important to her. My crush was in full gear, so canceling our morning meeting just wasn't an option. I rolled out of bed, got dressed, brushed my teeth, and put on the one thing that felt right that morning: my sunglasses. I wandered down to the convention at about 10:30, and it was eerily quiet. I sat down at the Digital Playground booth and ate a cranberry muffin. I rifled through my purse, turned on my cell phone, and saw I had a message. It was Adella, the Digital Playground publicist. She called at 9:00 am to say that Teagan wasn't feeling well, and we'd have to reschedule. I guess I should have checked my voicemail before I got out of bed, but I was in a stupor.
Got a call from Carly who said she was on her way down, so decided to wander over to the Pure Play booth to meet her. I ran into Mr. Director again, who teased me again, and who I considered sleeping with again. But I had three hours of sleep and hadn't even showered, so I told him to call me later that day (which he didn't). I went back up to my room to write my latest Village Voice dispatch, which was difficult considering that two new people were having sex in the bed next to mine while Paul Sarkis photographed them. They were a real couple, and they were really hot (check out their photo above).
After that, Jonno had an interview with porn stud James Deen, who brought a few friends along with him. One of the them was Joanna from Burning Angel. Then Paul, Joanna, Jonno, and I all went to dinner at the Mirage, where Jonno tried to start a contest to see who could eat something from every single buffet station. We had a lively debate about condom use in the porn industry. After dinner, we went back to the room, where I finished packing, set the alarm for 4:45 am (uugghhhh) and went to sleep.
